CHERYL LORD

Cheryl Lord
2020 HEAD COACH - BLACK SELECT plus 16 - WOLFPACK

Coach Lord started coaching volleyball in 1973 and has literally been coaching over half of her lifetime.  Her experience has included; adults, middle school, high school, travel teams, and camps and clinics for all ages.         Coach Lord has had the good fortune to experience a lot of success during her career. Even though success is far too often equated with winning; Coach Lord feels the real success is seeing the growth of the players in; their love of the sport, their strength of character, and of course their technical skills.

To quote Coach Lord, “First of all, it takes a cohesive coaching staff to create an environment where players can thrive and enjoy their experience.  I am very fortunate to be working with Brian and Eric.  We have been a team for many years, and we enjoy working with each other as much as we love working with the girls.  More important, I feel the true success of a team depends upon the commitment of the players, the dedication of the coaches, and the support of every parent.  To have the optimum experience by all involved with the team, these three components must exist.”

“I also appreciate and understand the overall development of our players will be the result of working with many different coaches. We do value the time we have with the girls and hopefully they will benefit from their experience with us as well.”
