Nancy Melvin

Nancy Melvin has been a high school volleyball coach in Delaware since 1991.  Her career began at Ursuline Academy, continuing on to St. Elizabeth's High School, and she is currently coaching at Archmere Academy.  Through these years she has had 6 State Final appearances, fostered the growth of several Catholic and Diamond State Conference players, as well as All-State, Coach's Player of the Year, 2 Gatorade Players of the Year and received the 2013 Diamond State Assistant Coach of the Year. 

She has coached multiple age levels of club volleyball from ages 12 through 18.  Nancy has had success at all levels winning many tournaments, Regionals, and making National appearances.  Our coaching staff always provides goals for our teams, whether it is to make their CYM, high school team, or to play in college, we strive to provide each player the skills to acquire their personal goal.  Nancy has had much success teaching the skill set needed for players to improve their knowledge and playing ability in the sport of volleyball.  The thrill of coaching is the growth you can see and measure in the skills a player acquires within your program.

Nancy played Junior College for Delaware Technical & Community College, and then Division I at Ohio University.  Nancy's experience, passion, and dedication to the game has been shared with numerous players, parents, and fans over the years.
