PREMIER WOLFPACK AND PREMIER STRIKERS BRING HOME TH GOLD AT BLUE RIBBON BRAWL!!!

Competing in 2 day tournament in York, PA,  both teams started the tournament strong. 

Starting in 3 pool on Saturday morning, Premier Strikers defeated both of their opponents, TNT 13U - Coyote and Trojan VBC Black in straight sets to place 1st in their pool.  Later in the afternoon, they faced Blue Ridge 13 Orange in crossmatch and defeated in 2. 

On Sunday morning, they started with Gold Challenge match vs Ballyhoo 13 Crash for a spot in the Gold Playoff bracket. Winning that match in 2, they advanced to the Gold Bracket. 

In the Gold bracket, they faced TNT 13U - Roadrunner in semi finals and fought hard to defeat them 25-12 and 25-19 to advance to the Finals.  The Finals match was Premier Strikers vs Blue Ridge 13 Orange.  The first set was a battle where they fought back from many times where they were behind and never gave up and won 25-23 and then they finished it up easily winning the 2nd set 25-7.  With that, they won the tournament, undefeated all weekend. 


Premier Wolfpack started Day 1 competing in 4 team pool.   They worked hard throughout the day to defeat West Shore YMCA 15 Teal, Ballyhoo 15 Crash, and IMPACT to win their pool.

On Day 2, they started with Gold Challenge Match to stay in to Gold Playoff Bracket vs Tier One 15.  They defeated them in 2 sets to advance the Gold Playoff Bracket. 

In the Semifinals of the Gold Playoff Bracket, they faced Surge 15 White.  They won the first set 25-14 and lost the 2nd set 21-25.  Then they are on race to 15.  An exciting match was played and won 15-13 to advance to the Gold Final.  Their opponent in the final was Ballyhoo 15 White.   Keeping the match exciting, they won 1st 25-21, lost the 2nd 16-25.  Once again, it was a battle to 15 with the gold medal on the line.  They came out on top winning 15-13 and claiming gold medals for the tournament. 


PREMIER PULSE WINS GOLD AT
SOMDVBC 13/14 INVITATIONAL

Premier Pulse traveled to Waldorf, Maryland to play in SOMDVBC 13/14 tournament. Going undefeated in pool play, they won their pool and advanced to Gold Bracket.   They faced Alexandria Titans 14 in Semis and won 25-15 and 25-13 and it was on to the Finals.  They went to play SOMD 14 Black. They defeating them 25-20 and 25-12 - They were GOLD CHAMPIONS!!


PREMIER Wave Takes 2nd place AT
MDJRS 13/14 Mixed

Premier Wave competed in the MDJRS 13/14 Mixed . Going 5-1 in pool play, they won their pool and advanced to Gold Bracket.   They faced NVVA 14 RED in Semis and  won  in 3 sets 25 - 23 ,20 - 25 ,15 - 4 and they were in the FINALS.   They went to play Areyto Volleyball Academy 14.  It was a battle and they fought hard through 3 sets and finished 2nd.  They played their hearts out!

 


PREMIER WOLVES TAKES 2ND PLACE AT
Baltimore Elite 15/16 Invitational

Premier Wolves participated  in the Baltimore Elite 15/16 Invite . Going 5-1 in pool play, they won their pool and advanced to Gold Bracket.   They met  Libero 16 White Eagles in Semis and  won  in 2 sets - 25-12, 25-13 and advanced to   FINALS.   They faced a tough FAVBC 16 Silver. Unfortunately, they lost this match and finished 2nd in the tournament.   


PREMIER Storm TAKES 2ND PLACE AT
MDJRS  15/16 Mixed

Premier Storm competed in the MDJRS 15/16 Mixed.  Competing with 12 tournament, they finished 5-1 in pool play to advance to the Gold Bracket Playoff.  In Semis, they played CEVA 16-Black. In an exciting match they won 25-15 and 26-24.  Then it was on to FINALS vsCVVC 16s Tigers . They fought hard and lost 25-23 and 25-11.     They finished 2nd place in the tournament.    


Six Premier Teams traveled to Boston to compete

in 3 day Boston Volleyball Festival

On February 22-24, Premier EDGE 18, Premier Peak, Premier Phoenix, Premier EDGE 16, Premier Fury and Premier EDGE 14 traveled to New England area to compete in Boston Volleyball Festival. 

Premier EDGE 18 

Finishing in 2-1 on Day 1, Premier EDGE 18 finished 2nd in their pool to remain the top part of the the 18 USA Division.  Facing tough competition, Premier EDGE 18 played up to their potential finished 2-1 and advancing to the Gold Bracket and top 12.   They met a strong  305 VBC 18 National in the first round.   Losing in 2, they finished 9th overall in the tournament. 

PREMIER EDGE 16

Finished 3-0 on Day 1, Premier EDGE 16 finished 1st in their pool to remain the top part of the division in 16 Open. Battling hard, Premier EDGE 16 finished 2-1 on Day 2 to finish 2nd in their pool and advanced to the Gold Bracket and Top 8.  They met a past opponent, ECP Battle.  After a 1 hour delay due to water and ice leak, they lost in 2 and finished 5th overall. 

PREMIER EDGE 14

Like Premier EDGE 16, Premier EDGE 14 finished 3-0 on the same court to take 1st in the pool to stay in the top part of the division in 14 Open.  Facing strong competition, they finished 1-2 on Day 2 to fall to Silver Playoff Bracket.  Unfortunately on Day 3, they lost their 1st match. Premier EDGE finished 7th overall.

PRemier Phoenix

Competing in 17 Patriot, Premier Phoenix fought hard all weekend but came up short in their matches and finishing 35th overall. 

Premier fury

On Day 1, Premier Fury worked hard and finished 2-1 and took 2nd in pool and to stay in the top part of the 15 USA division.  On Day 2, they faced tougher competition and finished 3rd in the their pool and advanced to Silver Bracket. In the Silver Bracket, they won their 1st match to advance semifinal and where they lost an exciting 3 setter 14-16 to finished 13th overall.

Premier Peak

On Day 1, Premier Peak finished 2-1 in their pool to take 2nd in their pool.   With tougher competition on Day 2, they finished 4th in their pool and advanced to the Bronze Bracket.  On Day 3, it was a great day for Premier Peak.  Fighting through every point they won their 1st round of the Bronze Bracket in 3 sets vs Ocvbc 18 National.  Then in the semi finals, once again they played 3 setter and won vs Great Bay 18 Heat Wave.  Now they were in Bronze Finals.  It was a long day but they prevailed and defeated Fusion 17 Elite to win the Bronze Bracket and leave with medals.
