Premier EDGE 18 traveled to Frederick, Maryland on Sunday to compete in MVSA 18 invitational.  They finished 6-0 in pool.  In the playoff bracket, they played Metro North  in semis and defeated  in 2 sets to face Blue Ridge Volleyball Association 18U Blue in the final. Winning in  2 sets, they finished perfect on the day with gold medals.  The ride was worth the trip!

"We played several competitive teams and nothing is a given at the U18 level.  Everyone plays to win, so this was a total team effort with every player making their role count. Even in moments where we found ourselves in a hole or out-of-system, the girls knew exactly what they needed to do and communicated that to one another. We've been working on being calm, bettering the ball, making smart decisions, and playing with a certain level of confidence. It was great to see all of these things come together."  - Coach Rainbow
