THREE TEAMS, PREMIER EXTREME, PREMIER RAGE AND PREMIER RUSH TRAVEL TO THE EASTERN SHORE

FOR TWO DAYS OF VOLLEYBALL!


PREMIER EXTREME WINS GOLD IN 13 DIVISION OF EASTERN SHORE SHOWDOWN

Premier Extreme started the morning off in 3 team pool and finished 2-0 to win the pool. Then they moved to afternoon cross match and they defeated DVA 12 White to advance the gold bracket for Sunday. In the semi final match they played Panhandle Boomers and won in 2 straight sets sending them to the championship match against undefeated SHENANDOAH SURGE.  In an exciting match they defeated them 28-26 and 25-23 to win GOLD.  Great job, Premier Extreme.

PREMIER EDGE 16 TAKES HOME THE GOLD AT MDJRS 15/16 MIXED

On Sunday, Premier EDGE 16  along with Premier Sunfire and Premier Sky to participate in the MDJRS 15/16 Mixed.  Premier EDGE 16 went 6-0 in pool play to finish 1st in their pool .  Meanwhile in the other  pool, Premier Sky went 3-3 to finish 2nd in the pool.   This must both Premier EDGE 16 and Premier Sky in the Gold bracket and playing each other in the semi-final match.  Premier EDGE 16 defeated Premier Sky in the semi-finals, meaning Premier Sky finished 3rd.  In the championship match, Premier EDGE 16 met American 15-2 and they easily defeated them in 2 to claim their gold medals.  Well done to the both teams. Premier Sunfire advance to silver bracket and lost in the 1st round. 

"Solid team play led to our gold medal finish on Sunday.  The team executed skills that we have been emphasizing in practice, especially, serve receive and transition.  As a team we passed a 2.25 in serve receive and transitioned so that our offense could run effectively hitting as a team over .300.  We were also able to convert on out of system balls and reduced the amount of free balls that we sent our opponents." -- COACH MAYER


PREMIER PULSE WINS GOLD AT TITANS WINTERFEST!

Premier Pulse traveled to Virginia to play in Titans Winterfest.  Playing in five team match play pool, Premier Pulse started off strong winning their first two matches in 2.  In match 3, they played MOCO Magic and won 3 setter.  In their final match, they faced the host team,  Alexandria Titans, they won the 1st set but lost the 2nd set and then it all came home to 15 points.  They won the 3rd set 15-10 to win the Gold -  Congratulations, Premier Pulse. 

"Team Pulse played scrappy defense all day long.  Our goal was to keep the ball in play and win the long rallies. They did just that.  Incredibly proud of their effort!" --  COACH BERGER


PREMIER SHADOW WINS GOLD
IN MDJRS 16 CLUB

Premier Shadow played in the MDJRS 16 Club on Saturday.   In their 4 team pool, they finished undefeated at 6-0 to advance to the gold bracket. In the semis match, they MD Volleyball and defeated them in 2 sets to advance to the championship match.  In this match they faced SOMD Black.  After losing the first set, they battled back to win the next two sets to take 1st place and win Premier's 1st Gold Medal in Harford Division.  Well done, Ladies!

PREMIER POWER TAKE 2ND PLACE AT BRADDOCK ROAD 15 OPEN INVITATIONAL

Premier Power made the long trip to Hendorn, Virginia to play in Braddock Road 15 Open Invitational.  They finished 3-3 in pool play to take 2nd in the pool and advance to the GOLD bracket.  They faced 1st seed, Metro North and they defeated in straight set and it was on to the championship.  In that match, they faced undefeated American 15.  They battled hard but they came up short and finished 2nd overall in an open level tournament. This is a great accomplishment for them. Well done, Premier Power. 


PREMIER CRUSH WIN SILVER MEDALS AT MASON DIXON 16 INVITATIONAL

Premier Crush made a short trip to Bo Manor High School to play in Mason Dixon 16 Invitational.  They finished 5-1 in pool play to take 1st in their pool play.  In the other pool, Premier Wolves took 2nd in the pool play.  With that, the two Premier teams met in the semi finals match and unfortunately  that meant only one team could advance to the finals.  Premier Crush was that team. In the final, they meet undefeated Libero Volleyball Club.  They lost the 1st set but battled to win 2nd set.  In the race to 15, they fell short losing 15-13 to earn 2nd place and Silver medals.  Great Job, Premier Crush!
