PREMIER EDGE 15 WINS GOLD AT Potomac Elite 15's Invitational! 

Premier EDGE 15 traveled to West Virginia to play in Potomac EIite 15s Invitational on Saturday.  They started the day splitting their match with Metro North and then won next 4 sets vs Libero White Eagles 15 and Potomac Storm 15 National to finish 5-1 and finish 1st in the pool play. In the semi-finals, they played Potomac Elite 15 Black and defeated them in the sets.  Then they met the 1st seed Blue Ridge Volleyball Association 15U Blue who were undefeated.  It was an exciting match.  Dropping the 1st set 23-25, they won the 2nd set by the same score, 25-23 and it was a race to 15. They won 15-12 to take home the GOLD. Well done, Premier EDGE 15!

Premier TAKES 1ST PLACE
AT NVA WINTER BLAST!

Premier Boom traveled north to Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster to play in their 1st tournament of the season in NVA Winter Blast. Competing in 4 team pool, they finished 6-0 in pool play to take 1 seed in their pool.  In the 1st round of the gold playoffs, they met our Premier Spark team.  They defeated them and move on to the championship match.  They won that match and went home with gold medals!  Congratulations, Premier Boom!

PREMIER EDGE 14 WINS THEIR 2ND GOLD MEDAL AT PENGUIN VOLLEY 14S TOURNAMENT!

Premier EDGE 14 traveled north to the Keystone region to compete in the Penguin Volleyball 14s tournament.  They won their pool play to advance the playoffs.  They won their 1st match and met ECP 13 Sky Team in the finals.  It was an exciting 3 set match, winning the 3rd 15-12.  Way to go, Premier EDGE 14!

PREMIER CRUSH COME HOME WITH 1ST PLACE GOLD MEDALS @ MJDRS 15/16 MIXED!!

Premier Crush made this season's debut at MDJRS this weekend at MDJRS 15/16 Mixed.  Competing in 4 team pool and with 16 teams i the tournament, they finished 5-1 in pool play to take 1st in their pool and advance to the gold playoff bracket. In the semi finals of playoffs, they defeated Metro 16 South-FX in 2 sets to advance the championship match. In the final, they play Dynamix Select 16s and won in 3 set match. They finished 9-2 on the day and brought home gold medals!  Great job, Crush!

PREMIER EDGE 17 WIN GOLD MEDALS @ BALTIMORE ELITE 17/18 OPEN INVITATIONAL!!

Premier EDGE 17 traveled just a bit south to Baltimore to compete in the Baltimore Elite 17/18 Open  Invitational.  Facing 2 18s and 1 17s in pool play, they split with all three teams to finish 3-3 in pool play but with their point differential, they won the 1 seed off the net.  In the semi finals, they defeated SMJ 18s in 3 and advance on to the championships.  In the championship match, they defeated SRVC Seagulls 17U in 2 sets and the gold medals were theirs!  Congratulations, Premier EDGE 17!

“17 EDGE has had the tendency to start matches slow. In the final of the gold bracket, we knew something had to change. We discussed what we needed to do better than we had been doing all day. The girls mentioned we need to get our serves in and stay aggressive on offense. We executed what we wanted to do and came home with a first place medal around our neck.” - COACH DAVE

 


PREMIER STRIKERS TAKE 2ND PLACE IN 14 DIVISION @ 2 DAY BLIZZARD BLAST!

Premier Strikers traveled to Virginia Beach this weekend to play in Blizzard Blast.  After a morning at the beach, Premier Strikers played in 4 team pool in the afternoon.  They finished 2-1 to finish 2nd in the pool and stay in the hunt for the gold! The match the lost was as close as they come - 23-25, 25-23, 13-15. On Sunday, they were in 3 team gold pool . They won their 1st match and then lost their 2nd match to finish 2nd Place in the tournament and bring home silver medals.  Good job, Strikers!


PREMIER EDGE 18 TOOK 2ND PLACE @ WINTER FREEZE 18

Premier EDGE 18 traveled north to Allentown to play in Winter Freeze 18.  They finished 1st in their pool, going undefeated.  They received a bye in the 1st round of the playoffs. They faced in ECP Diamond 18s in the championship match. They lost in 2 to win Silver Medals.  Nice Job, Premier EDGE 18!


PREMIER EXTREME WINS SILVER MEDALS @  NVA WINTER BLAST!

Premier Extreme spend Saturday competing in the NVA Winter Blast at Spooky Nook. In their 3 team pool play, they finished 6-0 to win their pool.  They earned 1st round bye to advance into the Gold Championship. They played hard but came up a little short to finish 2nd place in the tournament.. Well done, Extreme!


PREMIER WOLVES TAKE 2ND PLACE @ SOMDVBC 15/16 INVITATIONAL 

Premier Wolves traveled over to Waldrof, MD to participate in SOMDVBC 15/16 invitational to kick off their season.  They finished 5-1 in pool play to advance to the Gold Playoff Bracket. They defeated VUVC 15-1 in semis. Then they placed the tournament host, SOMD 16 black and won in  2 to win Silver 2nd Place medals.   Way to go, Wolves!
