MLK Weekend = Lots of Volleyball - Premier Teams Complete in PA, VA, WV and MD over MLK Weekend!

Premier Power kickoffs their season at Columbia 15 Mixed
and Brings Home the GOLD!

 

On Sunday, Premier Power travel to Columbia, Maryland to kickoff their season. In completing in six team pool, they started off strong and winning their 3 matches in 2 sets.   They won their next match in 3 and then went to finish the final set in 2 to take home the GOLD finishing undefeated for the today! Congratulations to Premier Power for a great start to the season!


Premier Fury traveled to West Virginia to play in Potomac Elite 14 Invitational and finished 3rd. 

Traveling to West Virginia, Premier Fury started their travel season.  They competing in a 4 team pool. They finished 5-1 in pool play to take 1st in their pool. They won their quarterfinal match vs MTMVB Thunder to move one their semi finals. They lost their EPAN Blue and finished 3rd out of 14 teams.  Well Done!


Komodo Dragons competed in 17/18 Smash in Virginia and bring home Silver (2nd Place) Medals. 

Our Boys team, Komodo Dragons, played in their 2nd tournament on Sunday in Springfield, VA.  They finished 2-1 in Pool play and in playoffs they won their 1st match to advance to the finals. They lost in the final but they came home with our Boys Program's first medals! Well done, Boys!


10 Teams Compete in MLK Kickoff Classic in Lancaster and York, PA

It was a great weekend watching our teams compete and continue to improve together as a team throughout the weekend.   Our strongest performances came from Premier EDGE 14, Premier Fusion, Premier Twisters and Premier Arsenal. 

 

PREMIER EDGE 14

Premier EDGE 14 competed in 14 National Division.  On Day 1, they finished 3-0 and finished 1st in the pool. On Day 2, they lost their match and won they their last two to finish 2-1 and advanced to the Gold Challenge Pool. In an exciting final play, they finished 1-1 and finish 5th overall out of 40 teams. 


PREMIER FUSION

Premier Fusion, competing in York in 13 National, kicked their 1st day with 3-0 finish, taking 1st in their pool.  For Day 2, the competition was a bit tougher but they finished 2-1 for 2nd in the pool and a spot in the Gold Playoff Bracket.  Facing a CJVA in the 1st round, they fell a bit short to lose their match in the bracket.  They finished 5th out of 20 teams!  Incredible start Fusion!


PREMIER TWISTERS

Premier Twisters played in 16 American in York.  They finished Day 1 undefeated in pool play (3-0) to win their pool. On Day 2, they finished 2-1 but they went on to play a tie breaker to stay in the Gold Bracket . Winning the 15 set tiebreaker, they advanced to the Gold Bracket on Monday. In the 1st round of the playoff, they lost an exciting 3 setter match, they finished 13th overall out of 66 teams.  Congratulations Twisters!


PREMIER ARSENAL

Premier Arsenal competed in 15 American division in York.  On Day, 1, they finished 3-0 to win their pool and on Day 2, they went 2-1 which placed them in Silver Bracket on Monday morning.  It was an exciting morning for them. They won their 1st match in 3 sets and then they faced a tough opponent, ASEVC 15 National Red.  Easily winning the 1st set 25-13, they won a marathon 2nd set 30-28.  The parents were stressed!  This put them in Semi Finals of the Silver.  They lost in 2 set and finished 13th overall out of 79 teams.  Strong start to the season. This is a team to keep your eye!!


EDGE 18 won the Emerald Bracket In 18 OPEN

Premier Bold won the Opal Bracket in 15 American


Premier EDGE 15  - 27th in 15 National

Premier EDGE 16 - 43rd in 16 National

Premier EDGE 17 - 37th  in 17 National 


Premier Wolfpack and Premier Storm competed in Monument City Classic in Richmond, VA

Premier Storm finished 23rd in 17 Club

Premier Wolfpack finished 30th in 16 Open


Our Harford Division teams made its debut in MD MLK Challenge in Jessup Maryland this weekend!

Premier ICE finished in Silver Bracket with a set record of 4-8.

Premier Shadow finished in the Gold Bracket with a set record of 7-5. 

Premier Sky finished in Silver Bracket with a set record of 5-10.
