Coach Shaun Walker began his volleyball career playing in grade school for Holy Cross along with his older sister, Jessie Simpson, in the CYO (now CYM) program. He followed his sister's footsteps and continued to play in youth leagues throughout middle school.

Walker began playing club ball at the age of 12, and continued until graduating high school. During his junior and senior year, his club team finished second in CHRVA regional tournaments.

While at Delaware School for the Deaf, he was the first male manager for DSD varsity girls volleyball team. He managed for six years, from 1998 to 2003.
While at McKean HS, he was a four year starter from 2001 to 2004, and was a captain during his senior year.

While attending Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., he continued to play in an intramural volleyball program at Gallaudet, were his team won three volleyball championships. He has also played in adult volleyball leagues in the DC where he was apart of winning two league titles.

In 2010, Walker became the Assistant Coach under his sister, Jessie Simpson at Brandywine VBC. He continued playing in an adult volleyball league in New Castle County where his team won the 2014 winter league. As of 2015, he also coached CYM at Holy Cross, were his team finished their regular season undefeated, and placed second in the finals.

He is currently a team member of the 2015-2017 USA Deaf Men's volleyball team, and will play in two upcoming qualifier tournaments: 2016 Pan American Deaf Volleyball Regional Qualifier and the 2016 ICSD World Deaf Volleyball Championship.

Coach Walker is excited to be a part of Premier Volleyball of Delaware.
