Susan Crawford
​​​​HEAD COACH - BLACK SELECT 15 

Susan began coaching volleyball in 2006 when her daughter expressed interest in playing.  Her experience began with CYM coaching fourth and fifth graders.  In 2011, she helped start the middle school program at Holy Cross School, where she has lead the school team to two Middle School Tournament Championships and a second place finish.  She began coaching club volleyball as an assistant coach with Brandywine Volleyball Club, helping lead a team to Nationals in 2012 in the American Division.  She served as head coach for Delaware Central Dynamic Volleyball for the 2013-14 season.

Susan’s coaching philosophy focuses on building fundamentals in all positions and at all levels of play. She focuses on improving players and their knowledge of the game, her goal being to balance competitive play with the long term growth of her players.

Susan is a Middle School Mathematics teacher at Holy Cross School, where she has taught for 13 years.  

Both her daughters are avid volleyball players – club volleyball is definitely a family affair!
