Be you, do you, and let’s play ball is Coach Renee’s coaching philosophy. She is dedicated to sharing her passion for this sport through leading, mentoring, and growing a team with a goal to develop not only talented athletes, but overall better individuals. Renee has a fun and energetic coaching style that allows players to learn in a unique way. Her belief is that if a coach can be authentic and relatable with their team, then that team is bonded resulting in a more positive season. 

Renee is no stranger to the game and she possesses 17 years of overall experience in volleyball. She has been the Assistant Coach on competitive teams for the past two years at Delaware Juniors Volleyball Club. In Fall 2018, she will be entering her 2nd year as the Head Coach on Ursuline Academy’s top team for 7-8th grades. Renee was a Viking at St. Elizabeth High School where she played 3 years at the Varsity level and 1 year at the JV level. In 2009, she was the team’s captain and received an All State Honorable Mention. Throughout high school, Renee played club for 3 years at Delaware Juniors. Renee later went on to play at the NCAA Division II level at Goldey Beacom College for 3 years. Renee enjoys picking up the ball as much as she can and is an active participant in local pickup games, adult leagues, and the Easterseals of Delaware Volleyball Challenge.

Renee prides herself in the fact that she is simply doing what she loves to do. She enjoys sharing her love for this game with upcoming generations. Renee is a passionate coach that strives to create an educational and positive experience for her teams and strongly believes that her teams can have some fun while they're doing it!
