It was a busy weekend for our Premier Teams. 13 teams were on the court; many for their first time in true competition play and some for their 1st regional single day tournament! Here are some key highlights!
It was a Premier Party at Maryland Juniors on Saturday!
Premier take over Maryland Juniors Sports Center with 7 teams competing on Saturday! Pink Pursuit, Crush, Express, Pulse, Lightning, Pistols and Fire all participated in tournaments on Saturday!
And then again on Sunday with 4 Teams at Maryland Juniors!
Pancake, Pride, Infinity and Arsenal continue the party on Sunday at Maryland Juniors!
Arsenal Win the GOLD at MDJRS 18s Club
Arsenal went 4-2 in the pool play dropping 2 sets to Virginia Fusion. They finished 2nd in the pool play and met the one seed from other pool in Semi Finals. They defeated Hub City 18s - 25-18, 25-18 in the semi finals to advance to the championship match vs Virginia Fusion. With a rematch from pool play, they defeated Fusion - 25-17, 25-17 to win the GOLD!!!
Express finished 3rd at MDJRS 13/14 Mixed
To start their first tournament of the season off, Express went 6-0 in the pool in MDJRS 13/14 playing 14s teams. They advance to the GOLD bracket and lost in their semi finals match to Vienna Elite 14s.
Pink Illusions win Silver Medals at MVSA 12s Invitational!
Attending the MVSA 12 Invitational on Saturday, the majority of our Pink Illusions were participating in their first club tournament ever!!! What a great day - they came home with hardware -- Silver Medals!!!
Pride Wins Bronze Medals at MDJRS 15/16 Mixed
After long day at MDJRS (leaving close to 8pm), Pride won bronze medals at MDJRS 15/16 Mixed. Unfortunately, they missed the Eagles game!
Lightning Tied for 3rd at MDJRS 15 Mixed
Lightning went 4-2 in pool play to finish 2nd in their pool play to advance to the GOLD Playoff Bracket. They played Vienna Elite in their semi finals and lost in 2.
Pistols tied for 3rd in the MDJRS 16 Mixed
Pistols finished 4-2 in the pool play to advance to GOLD Playoff Bracket. They lost in the tough semi final match to tie for 3rd place in the tournament.
Pulse wins the Bronze Bracket at MDJRS 13/14 Mixed
Pulse, playing in their first tournament of the club season, finished 3rd in their pool and advance to the Bronze Playoff Bracket. They won their semi final match and won their final match to win Bronze bracket.

EDGE 18 - Finished 3rd in their pool play at January Jump 18s
