Coach Hughes is  a St. Mark’s High School alumni, She graduated in 2017 and she played volleyball all four years of high school, 3 of those years being on varsity. She played travel volleyball for Premier Volleyball of Delaware for 2 years. She is now a  collegiate student athlete at Wilmington University. She is a freshman on Wilmington University's volleyball team and she will be a returning player next fall.
