Coach Kyle Anthony has been around the game of volleyball for 13 years either as a coach or player. He is from Baltimore Maryland and he just bought his first home and resides in Bel Air Maryland. For him, it’s all about growing the game and love/passion for the sport. Volleyball is such a tight family forever. He enjoys developing the kids skill sets as well as teaching them about life. 

Coach Kyle started playing volleyball as a freshman at C Milton Wright high school where he was a setter for 3 seasons following with a season as a libero. As a player,  he won 2 county/conference championships. He  also played men’s club ball throughout high school for UCVC men’s.  He was recruited as a setter. Shortly after graduating,  he began playing men’s USAV, local indoor and outdoor grass and beach doubles, mixed coed and 6’s tournaments competitively at all levels it was then when he got the itch to coach and teach back everything he had  learned.

Coach Kyle started at the age of 20 where he helped with a club in Maryland. Then leading into his first high school season coaching men’s at Harford Technical High School in which the team won 2 county championship and 1 conference following 3 straight years in the finals in his  first few seasons as head coach.  He had well over 10 all conference players.

Once Coach Kyle left the men’s game,  he went on to coach high school girls volleyball at C Milton Wright High School where they won a conference title and made it to regional finals with a 17-1 record. During all that,  he also coached woman’s club at Baltimore Elite and Delaware juniors for a combined 4 season. 

Coach Kyle also had the opportunity to coach college volleyball at CCBC Essex college.  He was an assistant coach who helped with recruiting.  He have spent time working with and under a few college coaches to learn more about the game. He is very excited for his new opportunity at Premier.
