Jessica Tynes enters her first year as an assistant coach on the Wesley College volleyball staff in 2018.

A four-year member of the Wesley volleyball team, Coach Tynes was a captain during her senior campaign in 2017.  At graduation, Tynes ranked third in kills per set (2.07), fourth in kills (670) and attempts (2,092), fifth in digs (584), sixth in digs per set (1.80) and points (772). She was named Wesley’s Most Improved Player in 2016.

Tynes has coached club for volleyball in the past and she coaches at  at the Holy Cross Church in the spring of 2015.

A Dean’s List student, Tynes graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a minor in law and justice studies. She is currently pursuing her master’s in criminal justice.
